Self storage loading and unloading with forklifts

Boxed Up Studios and Storage has two three tonne fork lifts and Pallet trucks. Goods from artic trailers and lorries can be un loaded and placed into the containers entrance. You can then arrange your stock for easy access. 

We are happy to initially load your container with the use of a forklift free of charge, as long as it is during normal working hours. Mon-Fri 8:00 to 5:00. Loading there after is chargeable.

When staff are not on-site, access to your storage container is obtained by way of a key for the locked front gate, an RFID swipe-card (Alarm fob) to temporarily disable the site's alarm system, and a key for your container's heavy duty CISA padlock. All three of these items will be issued to you at the start of your rental period.

Normal access hours

The premises are normally open from Monday to Friday 8:00 to 17:00.

At all other times the site is accessible with the clients keys and alarm fob from 6 am to 22:00 pm.

Assistance with heavy items

Clients are given use of pallet trucks and portable ramps for trailers and similar equipment over the raised container's threshold. Forklift truck services are also available to help with loading and unloading containers on the the upper level.As stated earlier  help is offered with the initial loading, but regular forklift use may be subject to additional fees. In order to access containers on the upper level, please note that there are moveable stairs and a walkway with railings to negotiate.
