Price for a Boxed Up Storage container is £156.00 in Thanet

Price to Rent a Shipping Container in Thanet

  • £130 + VAT = £156.00 per calendar month, paid in advance.
  • If your rental starts part-way through a month, you will only be charged for the remaining days of that month. Thereafter, invoices are issued at the beginning of each month and payment must be made by the 5th.

Reservations

  • Containers are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • A container can be reserved in advance, but the reservation period must be paid for at the standard rental rate if you want the container guaranteed to be available for you.

Minimum Rental Term

  • One full month.

Notice to End Your Rental

  • Two weeks' notice is required.

Damage and Loss Deposit

  • A refundable deposit of £180 is required at the start of the rental.
  • This consists of a £130 container deposit and a £50 deposit covering one gate key, one security key fob and one container padlock key.
  • The deposit will be returned in full provided the terms of hire have been complied with, the container is returned in the same condition as when it was rented, and all keys and the security fob are returned.
  • VAT is not charged on the refundable deposit.

Boxed Up Storage only has one size container:

  • Length 5.8m (approx).
  • Width 2.3m   (approx).
  • Height 2.3m (approx).
  • 160 sq feet   (approx)

Maximum weight capacity:

  • 2 tonnes

'Real world' volume:

  • As a rough guide, a 6m or 20' container can accommodate the normal contents of the average three-bedroom house.

Prohibited items:

  • • Hazardous, dangerous, illegal, stolen, perishable, tyres, environmentally harmful or explosive goods. This includes e-sales of counterfeit goods

Legal requirements:

  • Two forms of identification are required when hiring storage, one of which must be  a photo ID e.g. a passport or driving licence.The other must contain an address you abode.

Illegal Activity

  • We will not tolerate illegal activity at our storage facility. The Police and HM Customs & Excise are invited to access and inspect our premises at any time.
