Forklift Loading and Unloading

One of the main advantages of using Boxed Up for business storage is our ability to handle large and heavy deliveries.

We have 3-tonne forklifts and pallet trucks available for suitable loads. During normal business hours, staff can assist with occasional palletised, heavy or awkward items.

Articulated lorries and commercial delivery vehicles can be unloaded on site, allowing pallets or heavy goods to be moved much closer to your storage container rather than everything having to be carried by hand.

We also use a large forklift cage to assist with loading and unloading suitable items at upper-level containers.

Ground-Level and Upper-Level Storage

Ground-level containers provide the simplest access, with vehicles normally able to park close to the container for loading and unloading.

Upper-level containers are reached using purpose-built stairs and walkways with safety railings. Where suitable, our forklift and loading cage can also be used to move larger or heavier items to and from the upper level.
